Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh (A.P.,) is going to visit Tirupati for a two days visit.

Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy is expected to be in Tirupati, on the 11th and the 12th of October, and would participate in several events and launch development projects. He would also visit Tirupati Temple of Lord Venkateshwar during his two days visit.

Schedule of the 11th of October:

During the visit, the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) President would inaugurate a new paediatric wing in the premises of Balaji Institute of Surgery, Research and Rehabilitation for the Disabled (BIRRD) Hospital in Tirupati and would inaugurate the newly built Go Mandiram at Pandala Mandapam and boondi making kitchen complex worth Rs. 15 crores and Rs. 2 crores, respectively.

After the inaugural events, Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy would attend a headscarf event in Tirumala. He would also visit Tirumala temple and offer prayers to Lord Venkateshwar at the Tirumala Tirupati temple. He would offer silk robes and ornaments to Lord Venkateshwar.

Schedule of the 12th of October;

The next day, Tuesday, Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy would launch Sri Venkateswara Bhakti Channel (SVBC) in Kannada and Hindi language worth Rs. 12 crores.

He is also scheduled to attend a presentation on the new programs implemented by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) and the TTD-Farmer Empowerment Agency programme.

The YSRCP officials and district collector of Tirupati have been given charge for the arrangements of Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s stay in Tirupati. He would be residing at Padmavathi Guest House. The visit is specially organised on the occasion of the annual Navratri Brahmotsavam festival eve, on the 11th of October. The annual event of the TTD started from the 7th of October and would continue till the 15th of October. Due to the Wuhan virus pandemic, the event is said to be a low key affair, with no participation of devotees, due to restrictions.

Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy is scheduled to return to Tadepalli, on the evening of the 12th of October.
