YS Sharmila Meets YSRCP Loyalist In Hyderabad

Y.S. Sharmila, the sister of the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy on Saturday met the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) loyalists from Telangana.

Aound 500 people and YSRCP loyalist from Hyderabad and Rangareddy attended the meeting organised at Lotus Pond office in Hyderabad. 

During the meeting, Y.S.Sharmila sought their feedback on launching a political party in Telangana and also the public opinion on the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Governance.

She said that their intention is to establish ‘Rajanna Rajyam’ in Telangana. “YS Rajasekhara Reddy holds a special place in people’s hearts irrespective of caste and religion,” she said listing out the schemes launched by the former CM.

Ms. Sharmila said that YS Rajasekhara Reddy launched several programmes for the welfare of the students, poor and farmers. “With the public support, we can rebuild the golden era and fulfil the dreams of YSRCP.”

In regard to the new Party launch, Ms. Sharmila met most of the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) fans and loyalists at Lotus Pond.

On the 9th of February, Ms. Sharmila met YSRCP supporters and made key remarks about her, brother Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Her statement, ‘Jagan Mohan Reddy is doing his job in Andhra. I want to work as a committee for Telangana” raged an idea of her Party.

Ms. Sharmila also commented that ‘Rajanna Rajyam’ is coming to Telangana.

During the meeting, Ms. Sharmila said, “There is a void left behind by the untimely death of my father. I am overwhelmed by the love and affection shown by the people today, who gathered in large numbers.” She further added, “As part of bringing the golden period of her father, I want to interact with the well-wishers and loyalists. I am here only to listen what the ground reality is in the districts.”

However, details about her new party are yet to be disclosed.
