Y.S. Sharmila, the sister of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy is all set to launch her Party in Telangana.
Supporters of Y.S. Sharmila, the daughter of former A.P., CM the late Y.S. Rajashekara Reddy is making all the arrangements for the launch event, scheduled on the 9th of April. The public meeting named Sankalpa Sabha is going to be held in Khammam City, Telangana.
The meeting is being held after seeking permission from the Telangana Police and following all the guidelines of the Novel Coronavirus. According to sources, Y.S. Vijayamma, Y.S. Sharmila’s mother would be the Chief Guest of the organised grand launch event. The event would mark an important occasion, as Ms. Sharmila would announce the name of her new party, launch the flag and reveal party policies. Names like YSRTP, YSR PT and Rajanna Rajyam are under consideration, but no name has been revealed yet.
The newly launched Party of Y.S. Sharmila would aim towards the growth and development of Telangana. To launch her Party in Telangana, Y.S. Sharmila has been continuously conducting meetings with senior leaders and her supporters. She has been working on the Party agendas, strategies and other important details since February.
Ms. Sharmila who travelled to Hyderabad for several rounds of meetings and consultations was working from her office located at Lotus Pond, Hyderabad. However, soon Y.S. Sharmila is going to switch to Gachibowli, Hyderabad where her new office would be.
The decision of launching a new Party against the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) is being appreciated and criticised in political circles. The TRS, the Indian National Congress (INC) and other parties in Telangana, criticised Ms. Sharmila for the new Party.
Meanwhile, many leaders from Andhra Pradesh are looking forward to this new party launch. so far Y.S. Jagah Mohan Reddy chose to be quiet and gave no response to the new party launch of his sister Y.S. Sharmila.
It could be said, without the support of Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the success of the yet to be launched party would be solely based on the pre launch work and strategy of Ms. Sharmila.
The planning, strategising, policies and commitments towards the citizens of Telangana would be a major factor and would decide the future of the yet to be launched party in Telangana. In addition, considering the hard work and aim of Y.S. Sharmila for the new party, she is expected to contest the 2023 Assembly elections. However, an official announcement regarding the same would be made at the launch event on the 9th of April 2021.
