Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh (AP,) on the 19th of July, approved 11,114 village secretariats for every village of AP.
The Y.S. Jagan Mohan led Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) Government ordered to set up 11,114 village ministries and 10 officials in each secretariat.
According to sources, the Gram Panchayats which have a population of more than 2 thousand will have 2 secretariats, whereas, Panchayats with a population less than 2,000 will have one secretariat.
The State Government approved approximately 91,652 new jobs at the village secretariats, along with the details regarding the recruitment process.
The Panchayati Raj and Rural Development Department issued an order on the 19th of July, which states, the recruitment will begin from the 23rd of July and will continue till the 14th of September.
The selected employees will be trained for their respective positions.
The village secretariats will be ready by the 30th of September and will start officially from the 2nd of October.
