The officials of Nellore district, on the 13th of August, demolished three residences of Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader Salma Zaheer in Janardhan Colony, Venkateswarapuram, Andhra Pradesh (AP.)

The demolition process of the illegally constructed buildings came after the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) passed an order regarding the same.  The Andhra Pradesh (AP) Government deployed a large number of police officials to supervise the situation at the site.

The Police also arrested Kotamreddy Srinivasulu Reddy, the former Chairman of Nellore Urban Development Authority (NUDA,) who reached the site and was trying to stop the officials.

The demolition process is being supervised by Chinni Krishna, the Revenue Divisional Officer (RDO) and Srinivas Reddy, the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) of Nellore.

This is said to be a step of the Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy led YSRCP Government to accomplish its agenda of establishing a transparent and corruption free Government in Andhra Pradesh.

The demolition process is underway.
