R.K. Roja, a senior leader of the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP,) lashed out at N. Chandrababu Naidu, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.

Ms. Roja’s criticism came after Mr. Naidu questioned the motive behind the recent meeting between K. Tarakarama Rao (KTR,) the Working President of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS,) and Jagan Mohan Reddy, the YSRCP President, in Hyderabad.

Roja said, “Chandrababu Naidu not merely invited KCR to Amaravati, but had his name inscribed on the foundation stone there. Does he have any moral right to criticise Y.S. Jagan for meeting KTR?” She asked, “Why were the TDP leaders silent then? Didn’t Chandrababu Naidu get 36 kinds of dishes made and personally serve KCR when the AP chief minister invited his Telangana counterpart?”

R.K. Roja took a dig at Naidu and reminded him how he took over his father in law, N.T. Rama Rao’s Party. She also claimed, the TDP and N. Chandrababu Naidu are ruining Andhra Pradesh and are misleading the people of the State as an attempt to turn them against Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Speaking about the strategy of the YSRCP ahead of the Andhra Pradesh elections, Ms. Roja said, Jagan will fight the elections and consult the right person for the welfare of the State, unlike Mr. Naidu, who spread corruption in Andhra Pradesh during the last four and a half years and destroyed the State.

The Andhra Pradesh elections are scheduled for 2019, along with the Lok Sabha elections. The major parties, the YSRCP, the TDP and the JanaSena Dal, will contest 25 Lok Sabha seats and 175 Assembly seats.
