Kurasala Kannababu, the Agriculture Minister of Andhra Pradesh (AP,) on the 29th of October, rescued children who were aboard a school bus, after the bus hit a flyover.
On the 29th of October, Kannababu was in his convoy and was travelling to Amaravati from Kakinada when he saw a bus of Sri Chaitanya School hit a flyover pillar. He immediately stopped his car and extended help to the children stuck in the school bus.
The incident took place in Turangi, Kakinada district of Andhra Pradesh. According to sources, at the spot of the incident, 4 motorcyclists were also injured after they hit the bus and lost control.
The injured were taken to nearby hospitals and are undergoing treatment.
No casualties were reported and a few individuals suffered minor injuries.
The Kakinada Police reached the spot and started a rescue operation.
