Once again, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) indulged into war of words over better governance in Andhra Pradesh (A.P.)
On the 8th of June, the YSRCP Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) R.K. Roja came down heavily on the TDP National President Nara Chandrababu Naidu over women protection and rights. Recently, Nara Chandrababu Naidu alleged the ruling YSRCP Government for failing to protect women’s rights in the last two years.
However, MLA R.K. Roja denied the allegations and enlisted the popular incidents in which women either insulted or killed during the previous TDP rule.
The YSRCP MLA stated that the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has taken up several welfare measures and brought changes in governance for empowerment of women in AP. She said, “Mr. Jagan became an inspiration to all CMs by effectively dealing with (the Novel Coronavirus) COVID-19 situation.”
The comments were made after allegations of Nara Chandrababu Naidu and the TDP Working President Nara Lokesh over ruling of the YSRCP Government.
