The Andhra Pradesh Government, on the 20th of November, started a survey programme under the YSR Navasakam programme.
The survey would be a door to door one to select the people eligible for the welfare schemes launched or going to be launched by the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP.)
The YSR Navasakam Programme would continue till the 20th of December in urban and rural areas. Volunteers and village secretariat employees, along with the zonal officers, would be responsible for the survey and would select beneficiaries.
This would be a one of its kind survey as no State Government ever conducted a door to door survey to select beneficiaries.
After the survey is completed, the YSRCP Government would provide the beneficiaries with a rice card, the YSR health card, the YSR pension gift card, the Jaganna educational card and the Jaganna educational accommodation card.
Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, directed the officials to carry out the selection process based on the guidelines provided by the State Government.
The YSRCP also conducted a special training programme on the 19th of November for the household survey.
The final list of beneficiaries is likely to be approved by the officials of Gram and Ward Houses.
The beneficiaries would get all the schemes’ benefits and cards for the same from the 1st of January 2020.
