On the 12th of January, Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) workers and JanaSena Party workers got into a fight with each other in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh (A.P.)

According to sources, the YSRCP workers attacked the JanaSena leaders and activists with sticks and also threw stones at them.

The incident took place in Kakinada district when the JanaSena leaders and activists gathered at Bhanugudi Junction and took out a rally towards YSRCP Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) D. Chandrasekhara Reddy’s residence.

The JanaSena activists and workers took out the rally because D. Chandrasekhara Reddy abused Pawan Kalyan, the JanaSena President, for protesting against the Government’s 3 State capital proposal.

However, when the JanaSena protestors were at Bhaskar Rao Nagar, a few YSRCP activists attacked them and thrashed them with logs.  The injured activists and members of the JanaSena Party were admitted to the Government General Hospital in Kakinada.

K. Kumar, the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) of Kakinada Police, arrested a few YSRCP workers and shifted them to various police stations like U. Kothapalli, Pithapuram and others.

Meanwhile, Kandula Lakshmi Durgesh, a leader of the JanaSena Party, condemned the attack and demanded action against the YSRCP workers who attacked the JanaSena members.

Stay tuned for further updates.
