India beat Pakistan to reach the finals of the Asia Women’s Cup 2018. The match was held on Saturday in Kuala Lumpur where India won by 7 wickets. Pakistan elected to bat after winning the toss but were restricted to just 72 runs for 7 wickets in 20 overs.
Left arm spinner Ekta Bisht was the star of the match after taking 3 wickets and allowing only 14 runs in 4 overs. The Indian team managed to win the match with 23 balls to spare. Opener Smriti Mandhana scored 38 runs out of 40 balls while skipper Harmanpreet Kaur made 34 runs in 49 deliveries.
This is India’s fourth win out of the five matches played in this tournament. India lost one match against Bangladesh but quickly bounced back defeating Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
Bangladesh will go up against Malaysia to determine which team plays against India in the finals.
