Black Buck Poaching Case: Salman Khan Get 5 Years Imprisonment

Salman Khan has been sentenced to five years imprisonment in connection with the Black Buck poaching case. The Jodhpur Court termed Salman a “habitual offender” giving him a sentence of five years. His co stars Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Sonali Bendre and Neelam have been acquitted. The four actors were also accused in the case but acquitted for lack of evidence.

Salman was taken to the Jodhpur Central Jail where he will serve his sentence. However, like every other celebrity who has been sentenced to prison, Khan will be let off soon enough on bail.

The Court heard statements from 28 witnesses including villagers from the area. The villagers stated they ran out of their houses when they heard the gunshots. The prime witnesses stated he chased the actor on a bike but Khan and the remaining got away.

Salman Khan stated the deer died of natural causes and he actually saved the animal that night. According to the star, he noticed a herd of Black Bucks and one was stuck in a bush. Khan then states he rescued the deer and gave it water to drink.

According to Salman’s defense, the prosecutors fabricated evidence but the verdict says quite the opposite. This is not the first time Khan has got into trouble with the law. He was the prime accused in a hit and run case that killed one man. In 2015, he was cleared in the 2002 hit and run case due to lack of evidence.
