On Sunday morning, the police at the Ameerpet Metro Rail Station were frantic after an abandoned bag was found at the station. After hours of panic, the police sighed in relief to find the bad belonged to a Metro Rail worker.
The police reported they received a call from an unknown person stating the presence of a bag with explosives at the station. The SR Nagar police immediately swung into action and sent out bomb squad, clues teams and sniffer dogs to the area.
The team found the abandoned bag and checked it thoroughly but no explosives were found. For security reasons, the team conducted a search operation of the entire Metro Rail Station.
After receiving the CCTV footage the police found the bag belonged to a worker at the Metro Rail. The worker left his bag on the platform and started his regular work at the station, clueless of the havoc his bag caused.
