The infamous Blue Whale game has come to haunt us yet again. A young boy in Raigarh district in Madhya Pradesh wrote down his fear on his exam answer sheet.

The teacher who read the answer sheet was shocked and immediately informed the administration and the child was taken for counseling.

Sub Divisional Magistrate of Khilchipur, Praveen Prajapati reported that the tenth standard student from Utkrisht Vidyalaya wrote that he had reached the 49th stage of the Blue Whale game in his quarterly exam Sanskrit paper.

The officer also mentioned that the boy wrote in his paper that he was being pressured into finishing the last challenge (committing suicide.) The boy also mentioned that the game’s administrator threatened to kill his parents if he didn’t complete the challenge.

Praveen Prajapati further added, “The answer sheet was being evaluated by teacher Hemlata Shringi. When she read the lines written by the student, she got alarmed. After that, she informed the school and contacted us.”

A group has been formed in the area comprising of local teachers and concerned individuals to help counsel the boy and other children battling with depression and suicidal thoughts.
