Crazy Mohan Of Tamil Nadu Passes Away

Mohan Rangachari, a pronounced Tamil playwright and actor, popularly known as Crazy Mohan, passed away on the 10th of June in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

Mohan, 67 years old, died around 2:00 P.M., due to a sudden cardiac arrest at Kauvery Hospital in Chennai.

Mohan was considered the King of Humour and always was a part of comedy plays and movies, which made people laugh. Mohan once said in an interview, he hated being sad and only wanted to make people laugh through his work.

Although Mohan was an engineer by profession, he started his career as a theatre artist with his drama troupe, Crazy Creations in 1979. Soon, Mohan Rangachari became popular as Crazy Mohan in the world of theatre and films in Tamil Nadu.

He has also worked as a writer for the film Ten, starring Kamal Haasan and Apoorva Sagodharargal.

Mohan also wrote dialogues for Poikkal Kuthirai, directed by K. Balachander.

Some of the prominent works of Crazy Mohan are Palavakkam and Chocolate Krishna.

He also worked with Kamal Haasan and wrote plays like Sagodharargal, Michael Madana Kama Rajan, Sathi Leelavathi, Thenali, Panchathanthiram, Kadhala Kadhala, Avvai Shanmugi, Vasool Raja MBBS and Pammal K. Sambandam.

The most recent movie of which Mohan was a part was Devi 2, which released on the 31st of May 2019.

Fans of Crazy Mohan took to Twitter and expressed their grief about his demise.
