One youth was killed and his cousin injured in a bike accident at the Signature Bridge, Delhi, today, around 8:20 A.M.
The incident took place when Shankar and Deepak were riding from Nangloi toward north east Delhi. Shankar, 24 years old, was riding the bike and Deepak, 17 years old, was seated behind Shankar. The bike they were riding skidded on the Bridge and hit the divider, resulting in Shankar’s death and severely injuring Deepak.
This is the second bike accident to take place on the Signature Bridge in a span of less than 24 hours. Two men on a speeding bike fell off the Signature Bridge and died, the previous day.
Shankar and Deepak were both rushed to a nearby hospital. Shankar was declared dead and Deepak is still undergoing treatment.
