Nirmala Sitharaman, the Finance Minister of India, on the 5th of July, will present the Budget for the financial year 2019-2020 in the Parliament session, Delhi.

Based on the promises of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) during the election campaign, it is expected, this year’s Budget will focus more on farmers’ issues, unemployment and exemption in tax. Apart from tax exemption, the Budget may also include fund allocation for resolving the water crisis across India.

Nirmala Sitharaman arrived at the Finance Ministry and will soon begin the Parliament session, where the MPs will discuss the most awaited Budget of the year. The Union Budget speech by Nirmala Sitharaman is expected to begin at 11:00 A.M., on the 5th of July.

On the 4th of July, Ms. Sitharaman tabled the Economic Survey 2019.

In 2018, Piyush Goyal, the stand in Finance Minister of India and the current Railway Minister of India, introduced several schemes for farmers’ development, rural infrastructure, education, railways and others.

The citizens of India are excited to see what this year’s Budget brings for them.

Ms. Sitharaman handed a copy of the Budget to Ram Nath Kovind, the President of India. She will begin the Budget session at 11:00 A.M., at the Parliament in Delhi.
