George Herbert Walker Bush, the 41st President of the United States (U.S.,) passed away at the age of 94, on Friday.
George W. Bush, Mr. Bush’s son and the 43rd President of the U.S., said, “Jeb, Neil, Marvin, Doro and I are saddened to announce that after 94 remarkable years, our dear Dad has died.” In addition, he said, “George H.W. Bush was a man of the highest character and the best dad a son or daughter could ask for.”
The statement was released on Twitter by Jim McGrath, George H.W. Bush’s spokesperson.

George H.W. Bush, a former U.S. President, was a one term president. In 1992, Mr. H.W. Bush was defeated in the second term presidential elections by the then Arkansas Governor, Bill Clinton.
George H.W. Bush suffered from various health issues and was admitted to the Houston Methodist Hospital several times. In 2017, he underwent treatment for experiencing shortness of breath due to pneumonia. He was also diagnosed with a form of Parkinson’s disease (a nervous system disorder) and used a motorised wheelchair to move around. Mr. H.W. Bush’s death comes a few months after his wife, Barbara Bush, passed away.

George H.W. Bush is survived by his 5 children, 14 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
