On the 24th of June, Team Bangladesh won the One Day International (ODI) match against Afghanistan.

In the 31st ODI match of the International Cricket Council (ICC) World Cup, Team Bangladesh won with 62 runs at the Rose Bowl Cricket Ground in West End, Hampshire, England.

This year, England is hosting the ICC World Cup 2019, which started on the 30th of May and will continue till the 14th of July.

In yesterday’s match, Team Bangladesh performed well, with 262 runs and a loss of 7 wickets after 50 overs. On the other hand, although Team Afghanistan won the toss, they lost the match.

Team Afghanistan managed to score 200 runs and had a loss of 10 wickets (all out) after 47 overs.

Mushfiqur Rahim, a player of Team Bangladesh, scored 83 runs off 87 balls and became the Man of the Match.

In the ICC series, Team Bangladesh played 6 matches, on the 2nd, the 6th, the 8th, the 17th, the 20th and the 24th of June. Out of the 6 matches, including the one against Afghanistan, Bangladesh won 3 matches against the South African Team and the West Indies Team. Team Bangladesh lost the other 3 matches against New Zealand, England and Australia.

On the other hand, Team Afghanistan played 5 ODI matches, on the 1st, the 4th, the 9th, the 16th and the 24th of June and lost all the matches. They lost against Australia, Sri Lanka, New Zealand, South Africa and Bangladesh.

In the World Cup series, Team Afghanistan’s performance was disappointing as they did not win a single match till now. Considering this, the chances of Afghanistan being in the semifinals are very low.

On the 25th of June, there will be a match between England and Australia at Lord’s Cricket Ground at 3:00 P.M.
