On the 23rd of June, Pakistan won the One Day International (ODI) match against South Africa in the International Cricket Council (ICC) World Cup.

The 30th ODI match between Pakistan and South Africa took place at the Lord’s Cricket Ground, St. John’s Wood, London.

This year, England is the host of the ICC World Cup, which started on the 30th of May and will continue till the 14th of July.

In the ODI match, Pakistan won the toss and chose to bat first.  They won against South Africa by 49 runs and scored 308 runs, with a loss of 7 wickets after 50 overs.  South Africa, on the other hand, scored 259 runs with a loss of 9 wickets after 50 overs.

In this series of the ICC World Cup, Team South Africa played 6 ODI matches, on the 30th of May, the 2nd of June, the 5th of June, the 16th of June, the 19th of June and the 23rd of June.  Out of the 6 matches, Team South Africa lost 5 matches against India, Bangladesh, England, New Zealand and Pakistan, whereas they won one match against Afghanistan.

On the other hand, Team Pakistan played 4 matches, on the 31st of May, the 3rd of June, the 12th of June and the 23rd of June.  Out of the 4 matches, Pakistan won 2 matches against England and South Africa, whereas they lost the other two matches against West Indies and Australia.

In yesterday’s match, Haris Sohail was the star player of Team Pakistan, who scored highest 89 runs off 59 balls.

Speaking about the performance of Team South Africa in the ICC series, Faf du Plessis, the Captain of the South African Team, said, “It’s becoming a little bit embarrassing.”

After defeating South Africa, Team Pakistan will play 3 matches against New Zealand, Afghanistan and Bangladesh on the 26th of June, the 29th of June and the 5th of July respectively.

On the 24th of June, there will be a match between Bangladesh and Afghanistan at 3:00 P.M.
