Among the terrorists that were killed over the year include Commander of Lashkar-e-Taiba, Bashir Lashkari, who was involved in killing six police men. The Security Forces also killed the top Hizbul Mujahideen militant, Sabzar Ahmad Bhat.

An official revealed this was a strict order for the forces to hunt down all the names on the hit list.
