Kalvakuntla Kavitha, the Member of Parliament (MP) of the Nizamabad constituency, on the 30th of March, addressed a public rally in the Bodhan constituency ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
K. Kavitha, a member of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS,) organised a roadshow as a part of her campaign, at Navipet mandal of the Bodhan constituency, Telangana.
During the roadshow, Kavitha spoke about the TRS Government in Telangana, which fulfilled the promises made to the citizens of Telangana.
Ms. Kavitha highlighted the welfare schemes and development projects launched by the Telangana Government. She said, the TRS Government is doing every possible thing for the benefit of the residents of the State.
Ms. Kavitha appreciated the efforts of the TRS Government and said, like Telangana, India also needs a leader like K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana.
K. Kavitha kick started her campaign for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Telangana. She also filed her nominations as a MP candidate to contest the Lok Sabha elections from the Nizamabad constituency.
Telangana will contest a total of 17 seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, scheduled on the 11th of April 2019.
The major parties contesting the Telangana Lok Sabha elections are the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP,) the Indian National Congress (INC) and the TRS.
The results of the Telangana Lok Sabha elections will be announced on the 23rd of May 2019.
