Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on the 30th of May, visited Sadaiv Atal with Amit Shah, the former President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP.)

Mr. Modi and Amit Shah visited Rajghat at 7:00 A.M., to pay tribute to Mahatma Gandhi, following which they headed to Sadaiv Atal and paid tribute to late Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

Narendra Modi will take oath in front of Ram Nath Kovind, the President of India, for his 2nd term as the Prime Minister, on the 30th of May, at 7:00 P.M., in Delhi.

The 90 minute long ceremony will be attended by approximately 8,000 guests including VVIPs, politicians, ministers, etc.

Ashok Malik, the Spokesperson of Rashtrapati Bhavan, said, “This is the first time that 8,000 guests will be attending the swearing-in ceremony that will be held from 7:00 P.M., to 8:30 P.M., on Thursday.”

Dal raisina and paneer tikka are some of the special items which will be served to the guests. Ram Nath Kovind will also hold a dinner for foreign dignitaries after the oath taking ceremony.

Mr. Malik said, “There will be a dinner which will be hosted by the President for about 40 guests. It will begin at 9:00 P.M.”

Foreign delegates such as Pravind Kumar Jugnauth, the PM of Mauritius, Abdul Hamid, the President of Bangladesh, Maithripala Sirisena, the President of Sri Lanka and K.P. Sharma Oli, the PM of Nepal, will attend the event.

U Win Myint, the President of Myanmar and Lotay Tshering, the PM of Bhutan, are also expected to mark their presence at the event.

Leaders of the Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC) countries confirmed their presence at the ceremony.

The oath taking ceremony will begin at 7:00 P.M., on the 30th of May, at Rashtrapati Bhavan, Delhi.
