Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on the 22nd of June, met top economists and NITI Aayog officials to discuss the budget and the NITI Aayog scheme, in Delhi.
The discussions at the meeting were about the issues related to the economic development of India and the macroeconomic situation of the Country.
During the meeting, Mr. Modi held discussions regarding the upcoming Budget session of the 17th Lok Sabha.
On the 5th of July, during the Lok Sabha session, Nirmala Sitharaman, the Finance Minister of India, will present the Budget of India.
Ms. Sitharaman also held a pre budget meeting with the Finance Ministers of all the states in India. The meeting was held on the 21st of June, at the Parliament House, Delhi.
During the meeting with the economists and the NITI Aayog officials, Mr. Modi also had a discussion about the Union Budget and the proposals designed for the taxpayers.
According to sources, the long meeting went well, with the discussions based on the economical situation of the Country and the solutions to the financial issues hampering the growth of India. The economists and the NITI Aayog officials also made presentations before the Prime Minister regarding the same.
The meeting started at 4:30 P.M., on the 22nd of June, at NITI Aayog in Delhi.
