Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on the 31st of May, will conduct several bilateral meetings with the foreign delegates who came to India to attend PM Modi’s oath taking ceremony.

The oath taking ceremony of Narendra Modi was held on the 30th of May. He was sworn in as the Prime Minister of India in front of Ram Nath Kovind, the President of India.

After becoming the PM for the second term, Mr. Modi planned back to back meetings with the ministers and presidents of different countries.

On the 31st of May, Mr. Modi conducted a meeting with Mohammed Abdul Hamid, at 10:30 A.M., at Hyderabad House, in Delhi. Later, he met Maithripala Sirisena, the President of Sri Lanka, as well as Pravind Kumar Jugnauth, the Prime Minister of Mauritius.

After completing his meeting with Mr. Jugnauth, Mr. Modi will meet K.P. Sharma Oli, the Prime Minister of Nepal and Dr. Lotay Tshering, the Prime Minister of Bhutan.

Apart from this, Mr. Modi will also meet the leaders of the countries from the Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC) and discuss with them about the development of the BIMSTEC nations.

According to the Bharatiya Janata Party sources, Mr. Modi will spare 20 minutes for every meeting.
