The Jaish e Mohammed terrorists attacked the Sunjwan army camp in Jammu and Kashmir. They attacked early on Saturday morning injuring four people including a Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO.)
JCO Madan Lal Choudhary along with his daughter were injured when the militants opened fire at the camp. Authorities have cordoned off the area and schools along the Sunjwan belt have been closed temporarily.
The attack began at around 5 A.M, as three to four terrorists attacked the JCO family quarters. The militants are now cornered in one of the family quarters at the rear side of the camp. The officials reported the operation is still underway.
Intelligence Inputs expected an attack on the army and warned the officials. The 9th of February marks the day Afzal Guru from JeM was hanged in 2013.
