K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR,) the Chief Minister of Telangana, on the 17th of June, inaugurated the new quarters for the Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) in Hyderabad, Telangana.

KCR, accompanied by Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, the Assembly Speaker of Telangana, inaugurated the MLA and Members of the Legislative Council (MLC) Quarters in Hyderguda.

The Telangana Government designed a total of 120 quarters worth Rs. 166 crores, which are spread across 4 acres of land. There are twelve storied buildings with 10 three bedroom apartments of 2,500 square yards on each floor.

The complex has other facilities such as a bank, a clubhouse, a supermarket and parking. In addition to this, there will be servant quarters, 36 quarters for the maintenance staff and accommodation for the security personnel.

On the 15th of June, Vemula Prashanth Reddy, a member of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS,) Pocharam Srinivas Reddy and V. Narasimhacharyulu, the Secretary of AP Assembly, inspected the quarters.

KCR, on the 17th of June, inaugurated the building around 11:00 A.M., by performing a yagam and other traditional poojas.

V. Prashanth Reddy, the Legislative Affairs Minister, conducted the poojas in all the quarters of the building.
