Telangana Home Minister Inaugurates 3 Police Buildings

Mohammed Mahmood Ali, the Home Minister of Telangana, on the 1st of July, inaugurated 3 police buildings in Amberpet, Hyderabad, Telangana.

Mohammed Mahmood Ali said, “First of all, let me congratulate the Commissioner of Police, Rachakonda Mahesh Bhagwat ji for his zeal and commitment in early completion of the construction of 3 new buildings for Medipally Police station, CCS & SOT at Bhagath Singh Nagar and Motor Transport Office at Amberpet.”

The construction of the Medipally Police Station, the Central Crime Station (CCS) and the Special Operational Team (SOT) was supervised by Mahesh Bhagwat, the Commissioner of Rachakonda Police.

The new buildings, which are worth Rs. 7 crores, are completely equipped with new technologies, good vehicles for mobility, sufficient staff, conference halls, men and women barracks and command control rooms.

The construction of the buildings, which is dedicated to the Hyderabad Police, is a step taken to strengthen the Police in the City. Previously, the Mamidipally Police Station functioned from the Mandal Guest House, but now, the Police have their own buildings with all the facilities.

During the inauguration event, Mr. Mohamood Ali said, soon, Hyderabad will have a global standard integrated police command and control centre at Banjara Hills. The cost of the new, one of a kind construction in the Country will be Rs. 300 crores.

In order to enhance the condition of the Police force in the State, the Government will introduce various schemes and programmes. With the initiation of these new programmes and the strengthening of the police force, cases related to gambling, illicit liquor and drugs will lead to severe punishment.

Mohammed Mahmood Ali appreciated the efforts of Mahesh Bhagwat and the other police officials of the Rachakonda Police Station and wished them well for their future work.
