The woman who injured three people after opening fire at the YouTube headquarters in San Bruno, California was identified. Widespread panic filled the YouTube office when a woman walked into the premises with a handgun and opened fire.
The woman identified as Nasim Aghdam shot herself after injuring two women and one man. Police initially believed this was a case of domestic violence but new information shows otherwise.
The law enforcement officers found a website with the woman’s name that complains about YouTube. The website complains about YouTube suppressing videos and traffic. However, the police said this is just the preliminary stages of the investigation and further details are awaited.
The incident occurred on Tuesday in an outdoor area of the headquarters. In the afternoon yesterday, the police found the body of the female suspect with a self inflicted gunshot wound.
Among the victims, a 36 year old man and a 32 year old woman are in a critical condition. While the third victim a 27 year old woman is in a stable condition.
The United States’ President Donald Trump took to Twitter to send his thoughts and prayers to those affected by this attack. In 2018 alone America has had 14,197 gun violence attacks that killed 3,646 people.
