On the 10th of July, the Andhra Pradesh Health department confirmed 1,,608 new cases of the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19.
With the new cases, the total reached to 25,422 cases till date.
Meanwhile, the number of deceased with 15 new cases reached a total of 292 in the past 24 hours.
With these updates, Andhra Pradesh has a total of 11,936 active cases, 13,194 recovered/discharged cases and 292 deceased.
Of the total 1,608 cases, 144 were from Kurnool, Guntur (136,) Anantapur (191,) Krishna (80,) East Godavari (169,) Chittoor (208,) Kadapa (91,) West Godavari (144,) Visakhapatnam (86,) Nellore (51,) Prakasam (110,) Srikakulam (80) and Vizianagaram (86.)
The remaining 32 are from different states.
In addition, the mortality rate of COVID-19 in Andhra Pradesh is 1.15% , the average growth rate of the infection is 7% and the recovery rate is 51.09%.
Till the 9th of July, Andhra Pradesh conducted a total of 11,15,635 tests for the Novel Coronavirus.
The total population of the State as per 2019 data is 5,22,21,000.
