The Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) led Andhra Pradesh Government extended services of contract employees.
Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh (A.P.,) decided to extend their services till the 30th of September. K.V.V. Satyanarayana, the State Finance Secretary of Andhra Pradesh, issued a notice regarding the same.
As per the issued notice, all the contract employees working in 8 different government branches are going to work till the 30th of September.
Initially, the contract workers in Andhra Pradesh Government departments had a contract till the March 2021. However, considering the situation as of now, they decided to extend the contract.
Meanwhile, currently, Andhra Pradesh has close to 13.22 lakhs COVID-19 cases, of which 1.95 lakhs are active cases.
