Former Indian Cricketer and Lucknow Super Giants team mentor Gautam Gambhir has tested positive for the Wuhan virus, also known as the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19.)
The 40-year-old, Member of Parliament (MP) of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP,) on the 25th of January, Tuesday, took to Twitter and said, “After experiencing mild symptoms, I tested positive for COVID-19 today. Requesting everyone who came into my contact to get themselves tested.”

Notably, in November 2021 Gautam Gambhir’s family tested positive for the Wuhan virus (COVID-19,) following which he isolated himself.
Gautam Gambhir, the former Indian Cricketer, announced his retirement from international cricket back in 2018. However, Gautam played 54 Tests matches, 147 One Day Internationals (ODIs), and 37 Twenty-Twenty (T20s) for India.
Gautam Gambhir joined the BJP in 2020 and became the MP from East Delhi.
