India, on the 27th of November, Saturday, logged 8,318 new Novel Coronavirus- COVID-19) infections.
After reporting a rise in the COVID-19 cases, the nation reported a fall, with 21 % lower cases than yesterday (10,549) cases. Furthermore, a daily increase in fresh infections has been below 20,000 since 50 days.
On Saturday morning, the Union Ministry of Health confirmed the new cases and updated the figures. According to the Union Health Ministry, India reported 8,318 new cases, 10,967 recoveries and 465 fatalities. With this, India has 3,45,63,749 positive cases, of which 1,07,019 are active cases, 4,67,933 deceased cases and 3,39,88,797 recovered/discharged cases. The number of active cases fell by 3,114 cases in the past 24 hours.
The COVID-19 updates are available on the official website of the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW.) In addition, the COVID-19 recovery is recorded at 98.34 %, the highest since March 2020 and fatality rate at 0.34 %.
Meanwhile, the cumulative doses of the COVID-19 vaccines administered in India so far exceeded 121.60 crores. In addition, as per Union Health Ministry, over 132 crore (1,32,33,15,050) vaccine doses have been provided to States/UTs so far. In addition, more than 22.72 Cr (22,72,19,901) balance and unutilized COVID-19 Vaccine doses are still available with the States/UTs to be administered.
