India on the 23rd of November reported 44,059 new cases of the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19.
India’s COVID-19 tally crossed 9 million cases with 91,39,866 till Monday, the 23rd of November.
With the 44,059 new cases, the nation also recorded 511 fatalities and 41,024 new recoveries.
With these aforementioned updates, India has a total of 91,39,866 positive cases, of which 85,62,642 are recovered/discharged cases, 4,43,486 are active cases and 1,33,738 are deceased cases.
The updated data was released at 8:00 A.M., on the 23rd of November by the Union Health Ministry.
According to the updated data, active cases stand at 4.85 %, recovery rate is 93.68 % and fatality rate is 1.46 %.
India’s COVID-19 tally crossed the 20 lakh mark on the 7th of August, 30 lakh on the 23rd of August, 40 lakh on the 5th of September.
It went past 50 lakh on the 16th of September, 60 lakh on the 28th of September, 70 lakh on the 11th of October, 80 lakh on the 29th October 29 and surpassed 90 lakh on the 20th of November.
In addition, according to the Indian Council Of Medical Research (ICMR,) nearly 13.17 crore samples were tested up to the 23rd of November including 10,75,326 samples in the past 24 hours.
Highlighting the state wise cases, the maximum number of the Novel Coronavirus cases are from Maharashtra (17,80,208,) followed by Karnataka (8,73,046,) Andhra Pradesh (8,62,213) and Tamil Nadu (7,65,995.)
