India Reports 50,210 New Cases COVID-19 Cases, Recovery At 92 %

On the 5th of November, India’s Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19 infection rate reached a total of 83.64 lakhs or 8.3 million.

In the past 24 hours, the Nation recorded 50,210 new cases of COVID-19, 55,331 cases recovered/discharged and 704 deceased cases.

The updated data was shared by the Union Health Ministry and the data is available on the official website of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW.)

According to the MoHFW, India has 8,364,086 positive cases, 5,27,962 are active cases, 7,711,809 recovered/discharged cases and 1,24,315 died due to the COVID-19 infection.

The national recovery rate also increased to 92.20 %, whereas, the COVID-19 case fatality rate reduced to 1.49%. In addition, 6.31 % are active cases for the Novel Coronavirus.

Meanwhile, according to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR,) a cumulative total of 11,42,08,384 were samples tested till the 4th of November including 12,09,425 samples tested for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.
