Mr. Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, the Telangana Assembly Speaker, on the 24th of November, Wednesday, tested positive for the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19.)
As of now, Mr. Pocharam Srinivas Reddy is admitted at the AIG Hospital in Gachibowli, Hyderabad. He is undergoing treatment and is said to be stable now. It is to be noted, recently, Mr. Pocharam Srinivas Reddy attended the wedding of his granddaughter. The event was also attended by Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana and Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh (A.P.)
According to sources, Mr. Srinivas Reddy said that he does not have any health issues and was admitted to hospital on doctor’s advice.
Meanwhile, the political leaders and officials who attended the wedding and came in contact with Mr. Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, were asked to test themselves for COVID-19 and undergo quarantine immediately.
