On the night of the 29th of September, the Telangana Health Department released a media bulletin and updated about the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19 situation.
According to the released bulletin, Telangana recorded 2,103 new COVID-19 infections and 11 fatalities.
Of the total 2,103 new cases, 24 from Adilabad, 102 from Bhadradri, 298 from areas under theBhongir Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC,) 46 from Jagtial, 29 from Jangaon, 25 from Jayashankar Bhupalpally, 23 from Jogulamba Gadwal and 53 from Kamareddy.
The remaining cases were 103 from Karimnagar, 93 from Khammam, 26 from Komaram Bheem Asifabad, 45 from Mahabubnagar, 45 from Mahabubabad, 27 each from Mancherial, 30 from Medak, 176 from Medchal Malkajgiri, 31 from Mulugu, 32 from Nagarkurnool, 141 from Nalgonda, eight from Narayanpet, 24 from Nirmal, 57 from Nizamabad, 31 from Peddapalli, 40 from Siricilla, 172 from Rangareddy, 63 from Sangareddy, 92 from Siddipet, 51 from Suryapet, 24 from Vikarabad, 41 from Wanaparthy, 35 from Warangal Rural, 85 from Warangal Urban and 31 positive cases from Yadadri Bhongir.
Meanwhile, the number of COVID-19 recoveries in the past 24 hours stand at 2,243.
With these updates, Telangana has a total of 1,91386 cases, of which 29,326 are active cases, 1,60,933 ecovered/discharged and 1,127 deceased.
Between the 28th and the 29th of September, as many as 55,359 COVID-19 tests were conducted, taking the overall tally to 29,96,001 in Telangana.
In addition, the recovery rate from COVID-19 in Telangana is at 83.27 %.
