Telangana: LB Nagar MLA Sudheer Reddy Tests Positive for Coronavirus Infection

On the 8th of August, another Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) tested positive for the Novel Coronavirus.

Sudheer Reddy, the MLA of L.B. Nagar, tested positive for the COVID-19.  As per reports, Sudheer Reddy and his family members tested positive for the infection and are under home quarantine. 

According to sources, MLA’s wife, his two sons and helper were diagnosed with the virus and are undergoing treatment.

Mr. Reddy is not the only MLA tested positive for the virus.  In the past few weeks, many TRS MLAs contracted the virus. 

Some of the leaders are A. Jeevan Reddy, Mayor of Hyderabad Bonthu Rammohan, Telangana Home Minister MD. Mahmood Ali and other Legiators tested positive of the infection in the past. 

Meanwhile, till the 8th of August, Telangana reported a total of 77,513 positive cases of the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19. 

Of the total, 22,568 are active cases, 54,330 recovered/discharged cases and 615 deceased.
