Telangana Reports 2,239 COVID-19 Cases With 82.90% Recovery

As of the 26th of September, Telangana recorded a total of 1,83,866 cases of the Novel  Coronavirus or COVID-19. 

Since the past few days, the State is recording a minimum of  2,000 everyday COVID-19 cases. 

In the past 24 hours, the State reported 2,239 new COVID-19 cases, 2,281 recoveries and 11 deaths. 

The new figures were confirmed by the Telangana Health Department through a media bulletin.  The bulletin updating the COVID-19 situation was released on the night of the 25th of September. 

According to the bulletin of the total 2,239 new cases, 27 were reported from Adilabad, 91 from Bhadradri Kothagudem, 316 from areas under the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) and 54 from Jagtial.

Of the remaining cases, 35 were from Jangaon, 29 from Jayashankar Bhupalpally, 60 from Jogulamba Gadwal, 58 from Kamareddy, 106 from Karimnagar, 73 from Khammam, 12 from Komaram Bheem Asifabad, 34 from Mahabubnagar, 57 from Mahabubabad, 31 each from Mancherial and Medak, 164 from Medchal Malkajgiri, 33 Mulugu, 43 from Nagarkurnool, 141 from Nalgonda, 34 from Narayanpet, 31 from Nirmal, 69 from Nizamabad, 32 from Peddapalli, 57 from Siricilla, 192 from Rangareddy, 66 from Sangareddy, 79 each from Siddipet, 63 from Suryapet, 29 from Vikarabad, 35 from Wanaparthy, 37 from Warangal Rural, 91 from Warangal Urban and 58 positive cases from Yadadri Bhongir.

With these updates, Telangana has 1,83,866 positive cases, 30,334 active cases, 1,52,441 recovered/discharged cases and 1,091 deceased.

In addition, the State conducted as many as 58,925 COVID-19 tests, of which reports of 882 samples are awaited. 

So far, 28,00,761 COVID-19 tests have been conducted in the State.

Besides, of the total 30,334 active cases,  24,638 patients are under home isolation and 5,651positive cases are in institutional care.

Despite the everyday spike in the COVID-19 cases, the State has 82.90 % recover rate from the previous 82.60%.
