Telangana Reports 857 Fresh COVID-19 Cases And 4 Deaths

After reporting more than 1,500 cases of the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19 cases for 2 to 3 consecutive days, Telangana recorded cases below 900.

In the past 24 hours, Telangana reported 867 fresh cases of COVID-19 infection.

Of the total cases,250 cases were from the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC,) 88 from Rangareddy, 61 from Medchal Malkajgiri, 48 from Karimnagar, 38 from Warangal Urban, 36 from Sangareddy, 35 from Bhadradri Kothagudem, 30 from Nalgonda, 27 from Jagtial and 25 each from Siddipet and Khammam.

The remaining cases were 20 from Mancherial, 18 from Suryapet, 17 each from Peddapalli and Nagarkurnool, 16 each from Mahabubabad and Medak, 15 from Sircilla, 14 from Mahabubnagar, 12 from Warangal Rural, 10 from Jangaon, 9 from Adilabad, 8 from Wanaparthy, 6 from Nirmal, 5 from Yadadri Bhongir, 3 from Vikarabad, 2 from Komarambheem Asifabad, one each from Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Kamareddy, Narayanpet and Mulugu.

In addition, the Telangana Health Department reported 4 deceased cases and 1,504 recoveries from COVID-19.

The updated data in a form of media bulletin was released by the Telangana Health Ministry on the night of the 8th of November.

According to the updated data, Telangana has 2,51,188 positive cases, of which 2,30,568 are recovered/discharged cases, 19,239 are active cases and 1,381 are deceased.

Besides, between the 7th and the 8th of November, the Telangana Health Department conducted as many as 23,806 sample tests for COVID-19. Cumulatively, 46,42,276 samples have been tested till date.

Meanwhile, Telangana has 91.79 % recovery rate and 0.54 % fatality rate from COVID-19.
