For the second consecutive day, the Telangana Health Department reported more than 1,500 cases of the Novel Coronavirus.
On the night of the 5th of November, the State Health Department released a media bulletin.
According to the bulletin, Telangana reCOVID-1 recorded 1,602 new COVID-19 infections and 4 fatalities and 982 recoveries.
Of the total new 1,602 cases, 17 were reported from Adilabad, 77 from Bhadradri, 295 from areas under GHMC, 39 from Jagtial, 17 from Jangaon, 23 from Bhupalpally and 11 from Gadwal.
The remaining cases were 28 from Kamareddy, 76 from Karimnagar, 79 from Khammam, 13 from Asifabad, 32 from Mahabubnagar, 19 from Mahabubabad, 39 each from Mancherial, 21 from Medak, 137 from Medchal Malkajgiri, 43 from Mulugu, 47 from Nagarkurnool, 79 from Nalgonda, one from Narayanpet, 12 from Nirmal, 33 from Nizamabad , 46 from Peddapalli, 27 from Siricilla, 118 from Rangareddy, 40 from Sangareddy, 38 from Siddipet, 45 from Suryapet, 18 from Vikarabad, 24 from Wanaparthy, 26 from Warangal Rural, 49 from Warangal Urban and 33 from Yadadri Bhongir.
With these updates, Telangana has 2,47,284 positive cases, of which 19,272 are active cases, 2,26,646 are recoveries/discharged cases and 1,366 are deceased cases.
Meanwhile, between the 4th and the 5th of November, the State conducted as many as 46,970 COVID-19 tests.
The cumulative total of COVID-19 tests in the State till the 6th of November stood at 45,31,153.
In addition, Telangana has 91.65 % recovery rate and 0.54 % fatality rate.
