The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) Prakash Goud tested positive for the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19.
According to sources, the Rajendranagar MLA Prakash Goud confirmed being COVID-19 positive on the 23rd of December. He underwent COVID-19 test after being lethargic for the past two days.
As of now, Prakash Goud is under home isolation with minor symptoms.
Mr. Goud also urged people who came in contact with him in the past few days to take COVID-19 test immediately.
On the other hand, with 635 new positive cases for the Novel Coronavirus, Telangana crossed 2.82 lakh cases.
Till the 23rd of September, the State registered 2,82,982 positive cases, of which 2,74,833 are recovered/discharged cases, 6,627 are active cases and 1,522 are deceased cases.
However, Telangana is one of the states with the highest recovery rate of COVID-19 infection.
Telangana has 97.12 % recovery rate and fatality rate stands at 0.53 %.
