The Firozabad District Administration has started a “No Vaccination, No Salary” approach towards government employees. The new policy is to encourage the vaccination drive against the Wuhan virus, also known as the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19.)
The Firozabad administration said, no government employee would not receive their salaries, if not vaccinated against the deadly virus. The announcement was made by the Chief Development Officer, Charchit Gaur. An order regarding the same was issued by the District Magistrate Chandra Vijay Singh.
As per the order, if an employee does not take COVID-19 vaccine, the department will initiate action and stop their salary for the month of May 2021.
Meanwhile, the District Treasury Officer and other departmental heads of the Firozabad administration were asked to ensure everyone followed the orders. They were asked to make a list and ensure all the people in the list received vaccines.
Meanwhile, in Firozabad nearly 155 active cases of the Wuhah virus till date.
