Over 10 lakh students appeared for the Joint Entrance Exams this year in over 1,781 centers across the country. Kalpit Veerwal was declared the topper of the JEE but that was not the part everyone was ecstatic about, but the fact that the whizkid managed to get a perfect score 360/360. The qualifying score for this exam is 81% and conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE.)
This 17 year old boy from Udaipur, Rajasthan, shared the secret behind his success saying that he spent around 4 to 5 hours studying in a day for the exam. But he also stressed that his success was not just him studying alone but the time he spent listening to his lectures and keeping in mind the notes provided by the professors. Kalpit also revealed the support given to him from his parents and teachers was another reason for his success, “I never thought I’ll achieve this much. My teachers and parents always supported me”.
The brainiac’s father who is a nurse in a government hospital shared the pride he felt for his son’s victory, “I am really happy. He has performed beyond our expectations.” Kalpit Veerwal is genuinely smart and has not only topped the JEE but the Indian Junior Science Olympiad and National Talent Search Exam as well. The boy is part of Resonance Eduventures, a renowned coaching institute for ambitious IIT students.
