This 2012 revisionist western film is written and directed by Tarantino. The film features Jamie Foxx, Leonardo Dicaprio, Christoph Waltz and Samuel L. Jackson. The movie is set back in the 1850s when slavery was a part and parcel of life and how one black slave is finally given freedom.

6. One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest
Originally a novel by Ken Kesey in 1962 was adapted into the film directed by Milos Forman. One of the few movies that did justice to the book from which it was adapted. The comedy drama has Jack Nicholson giving his best performance as the main character. The movie will track the story of one man admitted to a mental institution.

7. Silence of the lambs
The Silence of the Lambs released in 1991 and was one of the best horror movies ever made. The direction was done by Jonathan Demme who cast Anthony Hopkins and Jodie Foster. Hopkins plays Dr. Hannibal Lecter who is being held captive for being a cannibalistic serial killer. Jodie Foster plays Clarice Starling who takes Lecter’s advice to apprehend another serial killer on the loose. Ray Charles was one of the greatest musicians that ever lived and a biographical film was dedicated to him in the year 2004. Jamie Fox was given the opportunity to play the role of Ray Charles and he did a damn good job at it. Jamie managed to capture that essence that made Ray a pianist. The movie circulates around Ray’s 30 years of music from his childhood secret piano lessons to his heroin addiction and finally to his recovery.
