Hyderabad: The eagerly-awaited upcoming film “Rudramadevi”, starring Anushka Shetty in a mjor role, is gearing up for a grand release on October 9, 2015. The movie makers have confirmed that the film will be released in 3D and 2D.

Directed by Gunasekhar, “Rudramadevi” is one of the most anticipated releases of the year. Bankable beauty Anushka is playing a lead role in the film as 13th century queen of Kakatiya dynasty, Rudramadevi.
The period drama also stars Allu Arjun as Gona Ganna Reddy and Rana Daggubati as Veerabhadra. The historical film is simultaneously being made in Telugu and Tamil. Music director Ilaiyaraja scored tunes to the movie.
