Sukanto Roy, a sculptor from Asansol, West Bengal, on the 18th of September, unveiled a wax statue of the late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput (SSR.)
Sukanto Roy is one of the fans of SSR, who made the wax statue as a tribute to the late actor.
The statue was unveiled at his Museum in Asansol.
Talking about Sushant Singh Rajput, Mr. Roy said, “I liked him a lot, it is sad that he passed away. I have made this statue for my museum. However, if his family requests for his statue I’ll make a new one.”
This is not the first time Sukanto Roy made a Bollywood celebrity’s wax statue.
Previously, Mr. Roy made wax statues of stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Virat Kohli and others.
All of these creations are a part of Roy’s exclusive collection at his museum.
Dressed in black bottoms, a white t shirt and a denim jacket with white sneakers, a wrist watch and a smile on his face, Sushant’s wax statue looks very realistic.
The wax statue of Sushant Singh Rajput came after nearly 1,70,000 fans signed a petition demanding his wax statue at the famous Madame Tussauds London museum.
The Bollywood actor Sashant Singh Rajput, allegedly committed suicide at his Bandra Residence in Mumbai.
However, after several petitions and demands of the Central Bureau Investigation (CBI) probe, Sushant Singh Rajput’s case is currently being investigated by the CBI.
Besides the CBI, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the Narcotics Central Bureau (NCB) are also investigating the case due to the involvement of money laundering and drugs angle.
The investigation is underway.
