The Bollywood veteran actor Vinod Khanna(70,) who was admitted in the Reliance Foundation and Research Centre in Gurgaon, Mumbai recently, breathed his last today. The actor has been a part of several Bollywood movies and was in the hospital owing to severe dehydration.
Vinod, after his Bollywood career, took a sabbatical and has been a sitting Member of Parliament of the Bharatiya Janata Party from Gurdaspur in Punjab. Born on October 6, 1946, Khanna has been a part of 141 films in between 1968 and 2013.
Khanna after making debut in 1968, first with started supporting roles and later went on to start in several hit films like Chandni, Amar Akbar Anthony, Gaddaar, Mere Apne, Rajput, Qurbani, Kudrat, Dayavan, Kaarnama, Suryaa: An Awakening, Jurm, Jail Yatra, Imitihaan, Inkaar, Kuchhe Dhaage.
After quitting films for 5 years in 1982, to follow his spiritual guru Osho Rajneesh, he came back with a bang in Insaaf and Satyamev Jayate. Once considered the most handsome man of Bollywood, we would like to extend our condolences to the actor’s family.
