Ranveer Singh‘s and Deepika Padukone’s wedding, the most awaited B town wedding, finally kickstarted today, at a lavishing resort in Italy. The couple are enjoying their Konkani style wedding ceremony, which started today, at 7:00 A.M. The two day wedding will end with a Sikh ritual of Anand Karaj, which is scheduled for tomorrow.
The couple who started their relationship on the sets of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela, is finally tying the knot in Villa Del Balbianello facing Lake Como, Italy.

The security is really tight and guests are welcomed with special wristbands. A unique QR code was sent to the guests’ phones as an invitation. The code must be scanned for the guests to enter the venue.
A special chef from Switzerland was called to take care of the food being served at the wedding. It is said, they couple struck a deal with the chef that the dishes served at the wedding will be unique and won’t be prepared anywhere else.
According to media sources, the sangeet and mehendi ceremonies were performed in Bollywood style with music, dance and the playing of ‘dhol.’ The bride performed on the song Shubha Mudgal and the bridegroom made his entry by dancing to the song Tune Maari Entriyaan from his movie Gunday.
The wedding is expected to be one of the big fat weddings of the film industry.
The couple will host two reception parties after coming back to India. One of the reception parties will be held in Bengaluru, the native place of Deepika Padukone, on the 21st of November.
