Indian Cricket Team Captain Virat Kohli and Actress Anushka Sharma are blessed with a baby girl, on the 11th of January.
Virat Kohli took to Twitter and shared the good news.
In his tweet, Virat Kohli said, “We are thrilled to share with you that we have been blessed with a baby girl this afternoon. We thank you all for your love, prayers and good wishes. Anushka and the baby are both healthy and we are feeling beyond blessed to start this new chapter of our lives. We hope that you can respect our privacy at this time.”
Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli, married in 2017 and in August 2020 they were expecting a baby.
For taking care of Anushka Sharma, Virat Kohli, the captain of India’s cricket team was granted paternity leave by the Board of Cricket Control in India (BCCI.)
He was in Australia for an international tournament when he left for home at the end of December.
As soon as the news of the baby girl of ‘Virushka’ (Virat and Anushka) was announced, Twitter was flooded with congratulatory messages.
Celebrities, cricketers and fans took to Twitter and expressed their happiness.
